I worked on creating and modifying standard operating procedures (SOP) for three manufacturing processes for the side pan on the composite side panels for the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art: lamination, finishing, and truss adjustment. Each SOP improved efficiency, but the most notable efficiency change was through creating custom tooling to which reduced rework.

Core Responsibilities

I worked on cycle tracking manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and develop process changes. I also ran tests on epoxy resins, varying hardener ratios and heat to see how cure and working times shifted. From that, I successfully optimized conditions to reduce cure time while maintaining working time.
